That comes back to the way they dress up and the way they apply makeup. Going back to Middle Eastern ancestors from centuries helped shaping today’s cosmetic climate in the Middle East. Social Media played a big role in the beauty industry in the Middle East, and created trends of fashion in the streets. Social Media made it easier for the young generation to follow fashion, and what’s going on in the fashion industry. So the old ancestors beauty secrets and the old internet participation helped in shaping today’s beauty, and fashion in the Middle East.
Plastic Surgeries in The Middle East.
The Middle East is obsessed with plastic Surgery. Lebanon is the leading country in the cosmetic surgeries, and the charts from “Business O Fashion” website proves there are 12,100 plastic surgeries done in Lebanon per year. The second country is the Middle East who’s known for “ The world plastic Surgery Hub”. Surgeons in countries like the United States and Brazil are leaving their homeland country and moving to Emirates for business. Dubai offers a variety of surgeries; such as full body contouring. On the other hand Lebanon does not offer that variety; Lebanon offers more like Botox. So Lebanon attracts more people that concern the face and the chest area. When Iran comes in the third place of the cosmetic surgeries in the Middle East, and the According to Scoopempire; Iran ranked 10th worldwide in cosmetic surgery. That's where the nickname “ Nose Job capital of the world” comes from, and I think the nickname represents which kind of surgery Iran is known for. So they came up with the idea of Hooked Nose using dermal Fillers instead of surgery.

Other than plastic surgeries, Middle East is known for their Fashion Designers, and Beauty Influencers. Huda Beauty or Huda Kattan is arguably the most influential beauty blogger in the world, but she’s now only known for her blogs- she’s known for her cosmetic brand “Make up” brand. But other than Cosmetic and Beauty Influential, there are a lot of famous fashion designers that came from the Middle East, and their workshops still in the Middle East. For Example Elie Saab is one of the most well known designers in the world, and most celebrities wear his haute couture collection; Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Rihana, Taylor Swift, Rachel MacAdams, and the list never ends. Zuhier Murad is another famous designer, and he’s mostly well known for designing Jennifer Lopez tour outfits. Rami Kadi is another designer that we see in festivals and academy awards. These designers are all from Lebanon and they are well known all around the world for their design, which we see most of it in celebrities occasions and academy awards.
Fashion in the Middle East
Middle East Might have the most well known fashion designers, but the street fashion is very simple and fashionable. Plus the street fashion changes from one country to another depending on the weather, the culture of that country, and religion. For example Syria and Lebanon have a very cold winter; when Emirates and Saudi Arabia don’t get really cold during winter.
