Australia is a country with so many gems, that there is bound to be something for everyone. While known to be the capital city of Australia’s state Victoria, Melbourne is one of the most popular cities in the country known for being lively and also immersed with modern cultures of food, art, and—most importantly—music.
Melbourne is where the music scene pops off. The night life has no shortage of music venues or pubs that play live music on a nightly basis. There are so many options for live music that there are websites that list the city’s top ten live music venues. These venues play from an array of different genres (hip-hop, jazz, to rock-and-roll), which helps to lure people by their specific music taste.
Besides the venues, Melbourne also hosts many music and art festivals throughout the year. Each of these festivals has its own specific time-frame in the year that they are hosted, practically scheduled almost as if one is right after another. The music scene is big in Melbourne, mainly because many well-known artists and bands that have had their start up and that have gained fame are from Australia: AC/DC, The Bee Gees, Rick Springfield, and many more.
With all the live music and festivals there is no time for silence in a city like Melbourne, Australia, especially when it comes to the popularity that surrounds the music culture.
